Diamond White - One Source Talent

We all know Im coming home next week, which I am so excited for, so I just wanted to let you know me and mom just got interviewed by The Observer & Eccentric Newspaper. It feels like they are more excited about me coming home than I am! Here is a little bit of the article they wrote:

In 2006 the young aspiring performer signed with Southfield’s One Source Talent — a move that led to Diamond’s New York City audition for the role in The Color Purple. White said she didn’t even know they needed to bring sheet music, rather than the usual CD, for Diamond’s audition.

But her daughter sang a cap ell a and later borrowed sheet music to Amazing Grace, and managed to wow the casting professionals. They got the call on the drive back to Michigan and, White said, “we just screamed and hollered and rolled the windows down.”

I remember that day, it was one of the happiest days of my life! I still get goose bumps when I think about it!

Here is the rest of the article, CHECK IT OUT!:

Southfield’s Diamond White will paint the Fox Theatre purple this month

‘The Color Purple,’ based on Alice Walker’s novel, tugs at the heartstrings.

I came to One Source Talent exactly one year ago seeking modeling, acting, and singing opportunities. I was just recently offered and amazing opportunity to work on the Broadway Production “The Color Purple“. In the past two weeks I have appeared on the Maury Povich Show where I sang on their edition of “Children Idol”.  After that I was a guest on the Mike and Juliet Morning Show. And if all of this isn’t excitement enough, I was just recently offered a contract with Ford Models in Chicago where my mother and I will be moving in the next few days to pursue Broadway and Modeling. I really appreciate One Source Talent for all the help and love that they have given me along this exciting journey of mine!
